An evening in the circus

A Composition on An Evening at the Circus.

All the evenings are very boring. Today my father came very early from office and he read the newspaper. My father read an advertise of a circus in newspaper. As I have never been to the circus before so I got ready at once. He decided to go.
We left by car at 6’o clock in morning. Our time for show was 9’o clock. We reached at 7:45am. We took the tickets. As we entered we sat down as per our tickets. We saw a marvelous stage in front of us. Our seat was in the first row. There was a soft sweet music playing in the background. As the show started, there was complete darkness which was followed by flashes of colourful lights above me.

First, a group of smartly dressed girls came. They were acrobats. They showed us their breathtaking feats on the trapeze. A few clowns were sitting in the arena and entertaining the people with their gimmicks.

After this, four horses galloped in. They were followed by the four riders who jumped on to back of the horses and showed us various amazing feats.

A few weight-lifters entered next. One, of them picked up as much as 2000 kg of weight with great ease. He also made an elephant stand on him. There was absolute silence in the tent during his performance.

For the last item, iron bars were fixed around the arena to change it into a big cage. Lions were brought into the arena by the ring master who had a whip in his hand. The lions performed tricks at the command of the ringmaster.

We enjoyed every item of the circus and returned home thrilled.
